The above pictures show the state of dis-repair of the so called car park at the back of houses on hampden way. The estate office have told me time and again that the pot-holes would be fixed and time and again nothing happens! Its about time officers pulled their fingers out and did something about this blot on the landscape.

I find your comments most disappointing as you have been continuously kept up to date with this issue and given valid reasons why the work was delayed.
Like you we at the estate office want to see the area improved.
I have stated it was our intention to address this situation and work commenced on this car park some 2 weeks before the date of your critical blog entry. Admittedly at the time you wrote the job was not completed but it will be in the near future.
Much time and effort has been put into benefiting the estate which you fail to recognise in your blog.

As a resident of Hampden way who frequently uses this car park, i would like to agree that this is not acceptable. We constantly have to dodge the pot holes and puddles just to get to our house. I also have children and it is very difficult to tell them they cannot play on the back of our house because it is not safe. I hope to see something done soon.
Like you I was unsure of the answer so I asked my wife as she knows everything. She said it was and to stop asking stupid questions.
